A Bible Discussion Group (known as the Focus Group) meets occasionally. These friendly, supportive and informal meetings are held either at Church or in the homes of members of the group. Contact: Janet Barraclough.

Church Life

Serving and Sharing

For a number of years we have actively supported the Grace Food Bank, and this is continuing with a fortnightly doorstep collection.

Church activities include a variety of informal meetings and social events, some organised by other providers.

Chair Aerobics Session - in partnership with People Keeping Well in S17 we are supporting a weekly Chair Aerobics session on Mondays at 1-00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to this fun, low intensity workout with tea and coffee afterwards. Cost is £3 per session. Transport can be provided. Contact Community Wellness Services on 0114 5537807 for full details.

Rosemary Memory Cafe in partnership with Sheffield AgeUK meets on the first and third Tuesday each month. See Rosemary Memory Cafe page on this website for more details.

Tuesday Group meets monthly at 2.30 p.m. with a varied and interesting programme of speakers. Ladies of all ages are welcome. Contact: June Monks.

Senior Citizens Lunch Club. At present we cannot operate as a Lunch Club, but on Wednesday mornings between 10-30 and 12-30 we hold a Coffee Club, which is open to all to pop in for a drink and enjoy a chat with others.

Co-ordinator: Val Edwards

As a result of the pandemic a number of long running groups are not able to recommence. We are actively exploring new possibilities with People Keeping Well in S17.

In addition to these  activities, the Methodist Church Hall is used by various other local groups.
